I am an Australian academic and writer.
After graduating from The University of Queensland with a dual degree in Information Technology and Arts (majoring in psychology), I returned to complete my Honours in psychology at The University of Queensland before proceeding straight into my PhD, working with Emeritus Professor Mike Humphreys. I currently work as a lecturer in psychology at Federation University and continue to hold an Honorary Research Fellowship at The University of Queensland.
In addition, I write original works of fiction and have co-translated several works of classic Armenian literature. You can learn more about my work and view my publications in the Psychology and Writing sections.
Outside of my professional interests, I love reading classic literature, studying history (particularly social history with a focus on the late 19th and early 20th centuries), dabbling with the piano and cello, and spending time with my family and dogs. I also enjoy travelling and especially love spending time in New York — my favourite place in the world, without question, is The Metropolitan Museum of Art.
